The location of hotel was good for me as I like walking and it was only a short stroll to the city centre. The breakfast was very good and well worth the money. Excellent selection of food and drinks. I have booked several more breaks at this hotel over the next few months.
It is only forty minutes drive from home so is ideal for me.

Fantastic studio apartment in a characterful building. Benefits from a partially covered terrace to the rear - great space to relax. Fitted out really nicely. Great communication from owner. Central location.
We stayed at Paradores, Lorca in August. It's an absolute gem with stunning views, outstanding service, great food and beautiful rooms. The staff are amazing, kind, caring and friendly, they went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Our birthday dinner at the hotel was extra special because of Hasnae and Mereia, they presented a birthday cake and sang happy birthday, a wonderful memory we shall treasure. We would recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of staying in Lorca, you'll receive a first class service. We're looking forward to going back next year, this time for two weeks.

Great historical city. Plenty to see and do.
Great historical city. Plenty to see and do. Mixture if old and modern areas. Friendly people and good selection of bars and restaurants. All accessible within walking distance from our hotel. The theatre in the square is surrounded by a fab selection of tapas bars and we found a brilliant little pizzaria to the side of the theatre.

Lorca reflects 2000 years of human settlement in a daunting and beautiful environment . The river and the citadel shape the traditional way of life.........trees and deep verandas line the streets both in the old town and the new stylish suburbs.

The attendants in the spa seamed to be a little inexperienced as there was no initial assessments and when told that they needed to be deeper in the massage as I suffer in the shoulder areas you could not feel any benefit as they were not physically able to relieve any knots that were present.

We started by dropping off the car and walking up through the historic centre, all the way up to the castle - a steep but enjoyable walk with great views. We spent a fascinated couple of hours there, then returned down into the centre for drinks and tapas seeing the key architecture. In the evening we returned back into town to enjoy a meal at a restaurant we had fancied. On the second day we concentrated on the museums visiting two and the craft centre, before more excellent food and drink then left mid-afternoon after an really enjoyable visit.

Didn’t really have time to explore but plenty for the history buffs, castle etc.
Unfortunately there is a lot of drainage work going on but will be better when it’s done.
Although no restaurant there are plenty of places for meals within 5 minutes walk, we liked Pedro’s pizza!
The hotel itself was fantastic and in a perfect location; very close to the town centre with loads of bars and the food square. Staff were great (almost) and the breakfast was decent for the price, although a short walk into the town gets you a lot more for your euro - but this was buffet so I suppose you could eat as much as you want anyway. Onsite parking was adequate - although watch out for the far (right) ramp as its a little steep.
El Atico is a great place to stay in Lorca. It is quiet, well-equipped, and within easy walking distance of the major sites. Best of all are the two rooftop patios on either side of the flat. They are quite spacious and comfortable. One has amazing views of the castle and the old part of town; the other overlooks a nice park. Quite a special treat!
The room was small but clean and comfortable. The bed in that particular room was best for one. However, the bed was more comfortable than the one at the hotel I paid a lot for at a higher-end hotel in Chamartin in Madrid. If you want a nice low-cost, clean place, this is it. While it is not in the city center, it's a short walk and you are there.
we booked this thinking it was in Navarre region of Spain!
walking the Camino had limited wifi at times and very tired did not realize it was no where near where we were! Asked for a pardon on the charges as the booking was an error but they refused us!! Think they should have compassion on poor pilgrims on Camino
The hotel is in a very special place and one which is very distinct. We went specially to Lorca to see the special archeological sites- the synagogue and Jewish quarter built with the castle walls. This made the trip worthwhile particularly for those interested in the history of Spanish Jewry - Sefarad
It was a very nice place. It was outside of the center of town, but easy enough to get to by car. Very reasonably priced for how nice the hotel was. Big rooms, nice aesthetic. Small number of staff, but given the price, something had to give. All the staff I met were very helpful.
Everything at this hotel was clean and modern, beautiful back gardens and pool area and nice spa. The rooms were big and comfortable. Very nice and spacious everywhere. Parking was directly outside.
Everything was great - the apartment, localization (next to the best places in Lorca but there was not loud and with great view from the room), host. i definitely recommend it!
Comfortable resort-style hotel. Our room had a beautiful view of the castle. A bit tricky to find, but close to town via the underground pedestrian crossing under the railway.
The paradores all seem to have excellent beds and showers, and why else are you there ? you need a good night’s sleep when traveling and we got it at Lorca!
