Top Location direct in the center with view on the main square. Fernando the owner is very helpful and the restaurant provides good food - especially the local breakfast.
This atmospheric, historic hotel is set in a building dating back to the 18th century, located in amongst the narrow streets of the Medieval city of Uncastillo.

The town is magical!
The town is magical! Visit Sos del Rey Catolico if you are looking for culture, relax, and, perhaps, great food. There are plenty of accommodations for all budgets. Things to do: first of all relax, take it easy and enjoy the views. Book a walking tour at the tourism office to learn about town’s history and visit the 13th century’s frescos at the Church crypt. taje your car and meander the rest of the five villages from there.

We were passing through and stayed one night.
We were passing through and stayed one night. Bearing in mind this is February and many things are not available, two nights would have been better. If you enjoy the countryside then walking would be super in the surrounding area. A longer stay would then be better.

Sos is a great place, a beautifully restored medieval hill top village. The tourist information office in the Palacio de los Sada (in which Ferninand of Aragon was born) organizes guided walkarounds (for a really small fee) which are very interesting.

This little Medieval town is like a time warp!
This little Medieval town is like a time warp! It seems as If nothing much has changed for a thousand years!
We decided to spend the night in Sos del Rey Católico to break up the drive between San Sebastian and Barcelona.
There is not a ton to see or do, but for us it was a great, quiet road-trip stopover.

It was very interesting to wander the old alleyway streets and it was a special pleasure and privilege to meet and talk to the old guide in the church — we couldn’t really understand each other but his obvious love for the place and its wonderful ancient paintings transcended all language barriers. To cap the visit the food at the Cocina del Principal was superb.

We had a twin room with a balcony, which we absolutely loved. Our room was spacious and well-decorated, with a huge bathroom The parador was in an exceptional location, a beautiful old town in the mountains - you really felt like you'd gotten away from everything. Couldn't recommend highly enough!

View from the hotel and from the room’s balcony is spectacular. Even though mid June, the hotel was pretty vacant with dining room closed for lunch or dinner. They did have a modest breakfast available. We asked for a different room because they only have WiFi in the lobby area, so unless you are in one of the three rooms closest to the front desk you don’t get internet. Luckily for us the hotel was nearly vacant.
Wow - what a beautiful place to stay. We’ll definitely be back. The hotel was superb and the bar and restaurant was great just a short walk away. Excellent value for breakfast and the hosts were really helpful in sorting a secure location for our motorcycles although we didn’t need to worry as there were about 30 other bikes in the town overnight.
This hotel is going through a change of ownership and running on a skeleton staff, but that staff is the most wonderful, helpful, welcoming person you could want to meet, Estellea made our short stay so very enjoyable,
Comfortable beds in a good size room with a view to die for ,good range of breakfast goodies and we would definitely stay again
It is perfectly located in Sos, parking is on the street just outside the hotel.
The whole town, including amenities, small shop, several bars a lovely bakery, post office and on the day we were there a small market, is right on the door step and is a great place to explore.
We had a delicious traditional breakfast, proudly served to us.
Location at the centre of the medieval town made it easy to get around. Parking was nearby and the car could be brought almost up to the hotel to load and unload. Room was comfortable and we had a smallish room looking into other rooms across the inner courtyard. Bed was reasonably comfortable. The hotel is fine for a one night stay.
Such a cute, wonderful hotel! Such a cute old town! Staff was very good with communication - gave electronic codes for entering hotel and entering rooms. Room with view was a HUGE room on top floor - awesome! We also had a twin room for our kids. Breakfast cost extra but was really good.
Hotel was very nicely decorated and atmospheric. We liked the covenient check in. Breakfast was good and tasty. Room was clean and comfortable. The little town of Sos del Rey Católico is amazing. We recommend this place to everyone who want to get good experience close to Pyrenees.
Great location just outside old town - 5 minute walk to sights and large free parking area at hotel. Comfortable bed and pillow. Quiet room. Hotel staff were wonderful and friendly. Beautiful view of old town from hotel/ perfect for photos.
Beautiful place with nice and helpful people, you can eat at hotel restaurant for very good price, calm atmosphere with good music, room was clean and cozy, historical centre is very close fórom hotel.
The parador is a beautiful hotel with a lovely comfortable common room for use by guests to read, converse, etc. Also an upper patio with beautiful view. Our room and bathroom were both spacious.
The hotel has a fantastic location, the breakfast was wonderful (and much better than anything you will get elsewhere in town for the price), and Maria Jose is very helpful and attentive.
A very pretty & interesting village to stay in. The hotel was great value for money, small friendly all we could have asked for. Both dinner & breakfast were excellent
