I accidentally left my earphones there. Ans they offered to aend them to me to my home town. This is a human gesture. That I appreciate very much. The woman who works there in the morning is very sweet

The view was awesome and the owners were super nice and responsive. It is in a small town in the mountain, a great location to see the Picos. The breakfast is good, it's made to order with a small menú. The dinner was awesome, the solomillo cerdo con queso sauce was one of the best meal I've had in Spain. The room were confortable and clean.

We loved everything about this apartment hotel!
The location was incredible. Oseja is the most beautiful village we have ever stayed in, nestled in the mountains, with beautiful views in every direction.
The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly! Senora was lovely 🤩. We were very hot when we arrived and she provided ice cold Fanta and water!
Our apartment (junior suite) was amazing, with a bedroom, bathroom and living room/kitchen. There were incredible views of the mountains from the bedroom and the living room.
Breakfast was great with lots of options.
We went on two amazing walks directly from the hotel. There is a notice board by the tourist office with maps of the local walking routes.
In the evenings we went for a couple of drinks at the Alvarez bar which was very local, but very friendly, and cheap - four drinks for 6 Euros!
For dinner we went to one of the two restaurants in the village, and the food was fantastic and the staff friendly.

We got in late, and everything was done digitally. They sent us a link via WhatsApp and with the NFC option on my phone I was able to unlock the door. They also provided us with a map to get the room, which was great since it was almost pitch black!

Loved the facilities in general busy restaurant and quiet rooms in back of facility. The staff are friendly and engaged and go above and beyond to work around my lack of Spanish language skills.

Very comfortable for a family stay. Staff was very nice and helpful. The free, private parking was handy. We will definitely return. Good value for the money.
This charming hotel is a traditional large house, constructed from stone and wood

This property is very charming, in an old stone farmhouse that has been converted to a hotel. The rooms have the original stone walls still visible. The room I was in was small but perfect for one person with a golden retriever (pets are allowed for a nominal fee). It would have been suitable for a couple as well. The owner, Noelia, is extremely nice and very helpful. She made a point to ask her guests what they like to do and then provided lots of information about how to access it and where to go. This little hotel was centrally-located near Picos de Europa National Park. There were more than a hundred hiking trails within a half hour or less of the location - which was my reason for being there. The hotel was very clean, tidy and quiet. This is a rural location, but there were a few restaurants close by in the neighboring town - 1 km down the road. There were many more about 20 minutes away. The entire area is rural Spain at its best. Highly recommend!
Hostal Pena's staff made us feel very welcome and were happy to provide us with hiking routes and tips on what to do in the area. Breakfast was basic, but diner was very good. We had a three-course menu with water and wine/beer/soda included every night for only 12EUR per person, and always had the choice between two dishes for every course. The hotel itself is cosy, clean and charming; at a superb location to visit the Picos.
Staff is very friendly, espesially with kids. Allowed to use their fridge to store kids` products (room did not have one). Rooms are clean, shower working perfectly. Location is great, but you need to not afraid to ride narrow roads. There is a bar next to the hotel, you can always grab a bear or cider :) Air and calmness are exceptional.
They must have the best and the cosiest bar in the world, we really enjoyed sitting at the bar and sip to a glas of wine and beer.
We also ate wonderful meals served at the hostel.
Soto Sajambre lies in the beautiful mountains of Picos de Europa.
Super hotel in a remote mountain villa. Great place to relax on the terrace or go hiking. We took dinner in the restaurant, and it was good, simple and cheap.
