Friendly, helpful, super clean, everything worked well. All requests were accommodated. After a snowy wet day on the Camino (crazy to be doing it in winter aside) the host and staff were so kind.
Three course dinner, breakfast, ability to do laundry and dry things that had gotten wet in my pack.
Happily paid the bill for all the services rendered and left a large gratuity for the staff to acknowledge they went above and beyond.
This place will be gorgeous in spring when the flowers and leave are popping … but even now in winter was immediately kept clean from pilgrim muddy boots, poles, rain capes etc.
