Donde Victor Luna is the result of a project combining traditional art and structural features to provide a haven of tranquility, comfort and sophistication second to none that I have experienced in a good number of years walking the Caminos de Santiago. Victor cannot do enough to satisfy the requirements of his guests and enjoys passing time with them. He is knowledgeable about the village and area surrounding where his grandfather was born and lived and is rightly proud of the quality of service he provides, including the cooked breakfast and the very reasonably priced evening meal he provides on demand. The 'house' wine isn´t bad either!!!! Donde Victor Luna is just a few steps from the Via de la Plata and has two small general stores in its immediate vicinity.

Not a great deal. We were allocated a room in the roof space of the hotel. There was no air con available as they said it was cold weather when it was in the 20s. The window was a "push up" one which let a tiny bit of cool air in during the night but also noise from the main street below as this was the only way of cooling the room.
The hotel staff were pleasant and did try to help, but could not speak much English and to be fair I don't think they had much passing trade from tourists. Neither did the town, as we didn't find many people who wanted to help us to find a restaurant which was open at a reasonable time. All in all not a great experience including a hard bed and hard pillows.

Super clean, spacious, well thought out facilities. The hosts were very welcoming with a glass of juice on our arrival. A fantastic meal (with vegetarian option) excellent wine, the BEST homemade vegetable soup.

Spacious apartment in the center of a very small town. Host waited for us outside and was very gracious, showing us the free parking and place. Kitchen was overall well equipped for a family-stay. Fireplace in the living room was super-useful, as we traveled during autumn in chilly weather.
