excellent location, I was walking the Camino and use the hotel before, when I arrived by train from Leon.

It is exactly as described. Not too fancy and the location is a bit offset from the main areas but the price was right and the bed was comfortable. If you have a car and need to park, there’s no problem. It’s safe and comfortable and it served our needs for one night.

We stayed at the 4th floor, which was recently renovated, so all was brand new
The breakfast was good. Strange that no vegetables, but anyway - good.
There is a public parking just in front, which is big advantage as well.
The Hotel La Boroña is located 5 minutes' drive from the center of Gijón. It is well connected with the A8, AS1 and AS2 motorways.

Beds were like clouds, and there was a ever so kind desk clerk on the evening shift who was happy to bring me a bottle of water, ice for my swollen knee, extra towels and pillows (please always provide a tip if you’re requesting things like this). Anyway, she was fabulous and made my stay
I suffered from the flu here, and there’s a huge supermarket right next door, so that was helpful for me to grab some essentials.
