The location was perfect for a stop on our way South.
The location was perfect for a stop on our way South. The drive through the mountains is very pretty on easy, fast roads. Zumarraga is an industrial town but the hotel is right on the edge in a pretty valley, spoilt slightly by two unattractive apartment blocks next door. The room was large, with a comfortable super king bed. The bathroom was clean and well appointed. The breakfast was excellent, with omelettes cooked to order, freshly squeezed orange juice and good coffee, plus an array of cold choices. The hotel appears to be a family run, traditional Spanish establishment. All the staff we met were extremely helpful and friendly. We did not eat in the restaurant but understand, from our local friends, that it has a great reputation locally. We will certainly stay there again next time we are passing nearby.AlisonGuernsey

They work so hard to make sure all is perfect. We don’t usually have breakfast but we enjoyed it on the terrace with the owners going the extra mile. Rooms are comfy and have been modernised with lovely new bathrooms. It’s a gem.
