Waya Lailai Eco Haven, hotel in Kuata

Waya Lailai Eco Haven has a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Wayasewa Island. The accommodation offers entertainment staff and a concierge service.

Words cannot describe how special Waya Lailai Eco Haven is. From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us into their family. Their hospitality truly made us feel at home. If you would like an authentic Fijian experience then you have to stay here! We stayed in a traditional Bure which was lovely and clean. The beach and surroundings of the island are stunning. We spent most of our days doing the fantastic day trips organised by the staff or lazing in one of the hammocks on the beach. I highly recommend the snorkelling with reef sharks experience, the sunset hike and the trip to the local village. Everything about Waya Lailai is perfect, from the traditional food to the kind, friendly staff. It was the perfect place for our engagement! I highly recommend staying here. Thank you to the wonderful staff for making this such a special trip. We hope to visit again in the near future.

Paradise Cove Resort, hotel in Kuata

Boasting a waterfront location, Paradise Cove Resort features over 200 metres of private beach area. Surrounded by a garden landscape, this property offers a day spa, an outdoor pool and a restaurant....

We did a long tour of all islands in the Yasawas, and Paradise Cove is on a short list of the very best. Of course, as it is a higher end resort, expectations were also high, but the place met them easily. The property is located on a beautiful island where the beach and water entry / water level is just perfect, regardless of high tide / low tide. One thing they don't say and they should advertise is the amazing coral reef they have just steps in the water. This was easily comparable with things we saw on boat trips. So definetlly a very big plus. Then the restaurants, they have two, and we loved them both . Magic breakfasts at the main restaurant in the gentle sun light or romantic dinners at Donu . Unforgetable memories . The team has some of the best people we met in Fiji and we felt very welcomed. Special greetings to Nebz , hope you get the message, the first steps with Scuba were very helpful, thank you.

Octopus Resort, hotel in Kuata

Set on 1 km of beach in Likuliku Bay, this resort offers a swimming pool and a luxurious day spa. There are 2 bars, a restaurant and a variety of cultural activities available.

Everything was amazing at Octopus, starting with the tasty water as they do have a spring , coming from the mountains . The bungalows are beautiful, made in a traditional fashion, immersed in this beautiful garden with birds and flowers, it is amazing! The bathrooms are the best, outdoor, you can feel the fresh smell while showering under open air . For dinner, they prepared our table in every detail, we could see it from the pool . We felt spoiled. The food was very good! What else to say? It was a place of perfect relaxation!

This is a lovely island, with lots of friendly and helpful staff. I had my own little house that was super clean, but you can also rent bunkbed tents. The food is excellent With live entertainment during meals. You do have to buy the extra meal package as there is nothing else on the island except this little tourist village. I think it’s best suited for those who want to dive and/or snorkel and there are lots of organized trips you can go on, or you can snorkel on your own. If you want to just lie on the beach, this isn’t really the place for you. I had a wonderful time and met some great people. Thank you Barefoot Quata :)

Snorkelling from the back beach around to the front beach was fantastic. Unfortunately accommodation (tent on beachfront) was very old with missing tabs on all of the window flaps (some missing completely) and activities in package very limited (eg snorkel gear had to be returned by 4pm each day!) Definitely not value for money.
