I absolutely loved my time at Waya Lailai, this was one of my favourite places i’ve stayed! I originally booked for 4 nights but loved it so much I extended for another 4 nights. The staff & locals welcomed me like family and were always so sweet & kind. It was great getting to know them. The food was delicious and the day time activities were so much fun and varied. It felt like being part of the community whilst staying there. The evenings were always lots of fun, everyone coming together to socialize and hang out. I will be returning as soon as I can - I miss it so much! Thank you to everyone at Waya Lailai 💛

Everything. The most perfect paradise, of course the facilities are unreal with the best private beach and snorkeling just a few feet away from your room. Every meal was delicious, and the service was unbeatable. The staff here are GOLD, above and beyond kind and generous, my sister and I felt right at home. The best part was the kava ceremony nightly, a must do (casually the best most enchanting music i’ve heard in my life).
THANK YOU PARADISE COVE!! Hope to be back soon ❤️

The food was fabulous...We do think explanation of options for Full meal Plan off the menu could be discussed.
(When I ordered poached eggs and toast that was all I received. No butter, relish or parsley).Patrice and Kris and Likaa were all exceptional. Thank you. Your boutique is fabulous. Love the bure and the terrace/lawn/hammock

This is a lovely island, with lots of friendly and helpful staff. I had my own little house that was super clean, but you can also rent bunkbed tents. The food is excellent With live entertainment during meals. You do have to buy the extra meal package as there is nothing else on the island except this little tourist village. I think it’s best suited for those who want to dive and/or snorkel and there are lots of organized trips you can go on, or you can snorkel on your own. If you want to just lie on the beach, this isn’t really the place for you.
I had a wonderful time and met some great people.
Thank you Barefoot Quata :)

Snorkelling from the back beach around to the front beach...
Snorkelling from the back beach around to the front beach was fantastic. Unfortunately accommodation (tent on beachfront) was very old with missing tabs on all of the window flaps (some missing completely) and activities in package very limited (eg snorkel gear had to be returned by 4pm each day!) Definitely not value for money.
