The room was superb, service was exceptional, and the staff give great attention to detail. The village as you approach the chateau is very charming and quite beautiful. We would certainly recommend this hotel as somewhere to stay or even just to dine.

As it's usually a transit hotel for us on our journeys to and from south west France the excellent car parking is imperative to us. If you wish to spend more time in Acquigny there appears to be enough for a longer stay, both in the village and the local region. The food was very good, both evening meal and breakfast,

We stayed in the small double, which is a good size, a charming, comfortable room. We had a delicious meal in the hotel's restaurant. The menu of the day was delicious and excellent quality. The breakfast was the same high standard as the evening meal. A lovely fresh fruit salad and the usual bread and pastries and good coffee.
