The location was superb. It site on one of the walks around the town that guide you to many of the historically interesting sites there. It is also situated on the banks of the river, which is lovely.

Excellent location close to main road and easy to find. Beautiful building with authentic features. Charles made us very welcome and we had a lovely time. Our room was excellent, very comfortable and a good bed. We choose to have our evening meal there, which was beautifully cooked and served in a very happy and friendly environment. These apartments are part of the hotel, but about 300 yards away, so not on the river. You can still book and eat at the restaurant. Food is amazing and not to be missed. We had breakfast in the apartment as it is self catering. Lovely walk along the river by the main hotel. The staff is so friendly and welcoming.
