It doesn’t get so many tourists but tourist traps abound.
It doesn’t get so many tourists but tourist traps abound. But if you look selectively for a good restaurant you will find several and we had four outstanding dinners. It’s small but cozy and clean with lots of cute squares for tea or a drink. Several good museums and roman monuments. Four days is not too long.

The Easter feria is a good time to visit Arles, although food and service can be as low as 'poor'. Plenty of culture from Roman ruins to street bands. Excellent and elegant Museum of Arles. Wonderful street market on Saturdays with high quality goods. Shops, ranging from very high end local produce and clothing, to convenience stores, most open all (public holiday) weekend.

The staff was very helpful and was kind enough to let us borrow two bikes to ride to the city center of Arles (the city is rather busy to ride a bike though). The hotel has its own parking and a garden. It's was funny to be greeted in the morning by a few chickens that walk around on the premises :-)
