Charming, warm, and generous hosts. Running of the castle inn seems to be a passion for them. They have a bee hive and serve the honey; make youghurt, jams, and bread. The little restaurant of the castle, just outside the entrance, was enchanting.

The hosts were wonderful. We were traveling with friends to attend a wedding in Poudenas. This was the perfect location. A beautiful chateau in a scenic and peaceful countryside. It was such a pleasure to spend time at the chateau and with extremely kind hosts. Highly recommend the Chateau Cauderoue!

Sophie welcomed us and showed us to our room, helping to carry our panniers. She immediately made us feel at home and graciously accommodated our request to cook up our supper outside on the patio; even going so far as to cook up our pasta and chill our wine. Laurent joined us from work about then and we had some good conversation. The bed was very comfortable; we both slept soundly all night. The shrubs around the property make it very quiet and private. The property was immaculately clean.
