We were a family of 5 and absolutely loved our stay ,
It's a lovely little house with a hot tub that we used every day. we even went home with clean washing ,
The house was clean and well equipped, and when we informed them that the microwave was broken, it was replaced within a few hours .
There is plenty of parking too,
The shops are a short drive away, we will return to France and we will be looking at staying at the same location again .

La Chartreuse is an interesting mix of lovely chateau and adjoining events spaces, just off the autoroute towards Calais. Many of the rooms are newly redecorated in the same vein as the original, and they are very clean and comfortable. The bathrooms have both shower and bath, a real luxury! There are three restaurants on the estate offering different levels of dining but all with very good dishes - our favourite is La Vasco with a 'club-like' decor on the first floor. The gardens are (or were, they have had a dreadful winter and the potager is in a mess) a delight to walk around. There is to be a spa soon, and a swimming pool is planned in the future. Parking is off-road and extensive.
Located in Maisnil-lès-Ruitz, 21 km from Louvre Lens Museum, La Résidence du Parc d'Olhain provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace.

This was my second time staying here. Great place to stay coming from or returning to the UK. The room is big and clean with a large bathroom. The shower is good and hot. Parking in the car park 2 minutes walk from the hotel. Friendly receptionist who spoke English. Very comfortable bed. Excellent value for money.

Loved this place. The owner looked after us really well and were very welcoming. The room was old worldly and in a tower. The dinner was very nice and prepared by the owners of the chateaux. Would definitely go again.

Elegant house. Spacious and comfortable bedroom. Kettle and coffee/tea in room. Private, separate, bathroom with shower. Nice breakfast, fresh fruit, yoghurt, croissant, bread, preserves, tea and coffee - served in chandeliered dining room, overlooking the lovely rear garden. Pleasant hostess. Delightful rural setting.
This was a treat on the last night of my short break.
