It was a privilege to be able to stay in such a beautiful, old ancestral home. Luca, our host, has done a wonderful job of retaining the character and history of this historic property and is rightly proud of his family's home.

The Hotel Marjolaine is located in Roullet –Saint- Estèphe, at 15 minutes from the city center of Angoulême. All the rooms are comfortable and simple, equipped with a telephone and satellite TV.

The location is ideal for travelling to the south of France or Spain. Convenient for N10. It is also pretty quiet at night. Parking is right outside the room which is more secure. Try out the pizza etc restaurant round the corner, a little pricey but very good.
