Perfect location by the train station and 10 minute walk to the beautiful city center and marina. Loved the cleanliness and nice room. I also am working remotely at night and the breakfast room was happily opened for me to work in there. I was grateful for this since I'd been locked out of common spaces at other hotels on my trip. Location was good for us to visit La Rochelle and Ile de Re since we had a car, and this hotel has a good parking lot. Brian (assume he is the manager?) was very nice and helpful and spoke English very well, which was great for us. Breakfast was good. Room was clean. Ok for a budget hotel.
