Les Terres Basses is a beautifully restored 19th century house. The hosts, Jean Marc and Vero are extremely hospitable. Their English is limited but it was not a problem (especially if you speak some French). The room was large and the bed comfortable. The bathroom is renovated. There is a beautiful garden where one can have breakfast or an aperitif. The breakfasts consisted of fresh croissants and baguette with yogurt and fresh fruit. Some days there was a fruit tart. One can eat dinner on property which I did once. Delicious. Don't be put off by the narrow country road that the property is on. It is very close to the village of Fabrezan and other small towns that offer restaurant choices. Overall, highly recommended.

The breakfast was exceptional. Nadine served meats, bread, cheese, croissants, and a wonderful dessert that was very tasty. She also had milk, juice, coffee and tea and an assortment of at least 6 wonderful jams, jellies, and honey. Yum!.
There are many places to choose masquerading as a good resort in Booking.com. But this place really is the best.
A family run historic boutique hotel nestled away from the crowds. Feels like home. The hospitality is amazing and really welcoming. Short drive through the hills gets you to Chambre D' Hotel with ample gated secured parking.
Great 3 day stay for us on our tour around France and Spain.
