La Bastide-lʼÉvêque is one of the special places we'd definitely like to revisit and we spent six weeks exploring the south of France!! :) The accommodation was excellent; the breakfast delicious; the garden surrounding the property was beautiful, and magical; and the owners were delightful giving us lots of tips of places to visit not found in a tourist brochure. Excellent hostal. The house is located outskirts of Belcastel, you can only need 8-10 minutes walking. The house, an old farmhouse, is in the top a hill and you will have a great views of Belcastle and the river.
We stayed on 6 February with temperaturas between -1 and 8º C and the heating was perfect. The room is very spacious, the bed comfortable , a bathroom perfectly equipped. You also have a great common area with everything and you can enjoying in the morning a good breakfast, with croissant, cake, juice, butter, coffe, etc..
