The location is faultless, right at the entrance bridge to the small old quarter (when coming down from the train station), the staff is helpful and the room itself is cosy (it is not spacious though).

First of all, location, right as you get into town via auto or hiking the Chemin St Jacques. On the River Lot. You are greeted by a smiling hostess who is fluent in English and who has been the proprietor for 7 years. She is the figure-head, Cookie is the true greeter. They adopted him 2 years ago at dog rescue. He takes his role seriously. He is short-haired dark brown & black lab and hunting dog mix, with a right ear that telegraphs his emotions and interests. Nothing is better than when his male human parent shows up after work to take Cookie for a walk.
