The hotel is an old school with a lot of atmosphere situated in the middle of a beautiful, medieval town with a Chateau. Walls and towers are built from hewn, volcanic, black stone originating from ancient lava flows of the volcanos of Auvergne. A huge museum about the volcanos of Auvergne is 10 min away by car. The room was large with a very comfortable bed and luxurious shower. The host is exceptionally kind and showed us the room and amenities. There is a communal kitchen for the guests, so it is posdible to cook your own food. It is a great place for a family reunion. The breakfast was delicious and served individually by the host himself.
Villa Colombier in Pontgibaud provides accommodations with a garden, a terrace, and barbecue facilities. Both free Wifi and parking on-site are available at the guest house free of charge.
