This is an attractive Logis set in the square in the pretty little town of Vaas. It was a great first night stopover for us on our journey from Caen all the way through France and Italy and onwards to Greece. Welcoming staff and a comfortable room overlooking the square. It was unseasonably warm and we were pleased to be able to throw open the windows and look out on the square. Before dinner, we had drinks at the Bar-Tabac across from the Logis. We had a memorably delicious dinner in the Logis restaurant and can highly recommend a visit here. Staff were very pleasant. We didn't have breakfast.
Located in the countryside of Chahaignes, L'Autourserie provides B&B accommodation, a furnished garden, a terrace and a 1-hectare fishing pond.

This place is totally unique. You will struggle to find anything like it. Amazing host. Great for a peaceful get away or to explore surrounding area. We enjoyed bike riding, picnics and local restaurants (although hard to track down open ones midweek).
Set in La Forêt de Bercé, Loire Valley Llama Farm Stay offers rooms and bell tents and a lodge in a llama farm. Free WiFi and a seasonal outdoor pool are available.
La Tale is set in a renovated 18th century farmhouse in Chahaignes in the Loir Valley. It is a 40-minute drive from Le Mans and Tours and offers views over the countryside.
Quiet small town just off A10. A few nice looking restaurants, small supermarket and Boulanger. On way to ferry so did not have time to explore the local area on this occasion but would stop off again en route south.

Typical characterful French town, with impressive buildings in centre, easy to walk around. A pretty park with poignant reminders of events of WW2. A pleasant buzz in the evening from the eateries around the main square.
