The location was convenient to the Via Rhôna cycling from Lyon and they allowed us to safely store our bikes inside. Room view was wonderful. The restaurant is fantastic and our dinner was truly gourmet, so this review is of the hotel. Also note cyclists should consider the train from Lyon to Vienne as undeveloped route is not the best!)

The rooms available on the second floor have a nice kitchenette to share in a common room. The owner is an ex-pastry chef so he made us some of his specialties for breakfast. He also surprised us by serenading us from below on his piano which was just lovely. The owner does not speak English but uses a translator which he speaks into making communication easy. If you are on holiday from a different country, it is a fun experience getting to know a real French family. You may have dinner prepared for an additional price which was also a nice option.

It was an affordable option for a rental with more than 1 bed. The owners were very nice and helped me maps was showing the wrong entrance. This would be great for families or friends ideally am staying more than one night so you can take advantage of the kitchen.
