Lovely short stay village, the chateau was amazing and the staff, especially Julie,who had only recently started but her knowledge was 2nd to none . I would say everything was great in Combourg, the hotel was just across the street from the Château, the town in general was quite and peaceful, the food was delicious as was the coffee. Definitely recommend it for tourists visiting San Malo for the joyful drive and the cheaper rates.

We were originally staying in the hotel opposite but when we discovered that the restaurant there was closed Fridays and Sundays, we switched. And we are so glad we did! We loved our spacious room in the annexe with lovely, comfy bed and a view of the pretty garden. The cuisine was so delicious and with an unexpected and interesting choice. Staff were attentive and so very welcoming. We loved our visit to the château too. We will definitely return.JaeUnited Kingdom

The location was excellent for bars and restaurants nearby. The staff were really friendly. It also has the added bonus, that if you're on a bike (be it motorbike or cycle), there is secure parking under the hotel so under cover, they also have a pole and hangers in case you need to dry out any outer gear. The owner was very welcoming and accommodating. We had dinner at the restaurant, the food cooked by the owner's husband was delicious and of such high quality. We would definitely recommend stopping over, even if it's just at the restaurant. A place we'd all love to come back to.

An easy 10 minute walk or 2minute bicycle to Combourg. Lucine and Thibout were excellent hosts, friendly, helpful and caring. Breakfasts were excellent. Touring Brittany was easy from this central location and less expensive. Many signed trails for bicycle touring.
