Very handy location as wanted somewhere to stay after crossing through the euro tunnel very late at night. Fitted the bill perfectly as a place to stopover before heading further into Europe after a good sleep. Very comfy bed. Bathroom a bit basic and plastic but overall a very good hotel for the price.

Coquelles is a small group of housing and industrial units between Calais proper and Sangatte. It is not a place to visit for tourists, you need a car, although Calais and Sangatte are a only stiff walk away.

Didn’t spend enough time to give a helpful review.
Didn’t spend enough time to give a helpful review. We ate at the Poivre Rouge. Staff very nice but the steak my wife had was the most overpriced piece of meat I have ever seen. The steak - butchers cut - is in the photo. It cost €15.50 on its own!!

We have previously visited just to go through the Tunnel.
We have previously visited just to go through the Tunnel. Time on our hands this time, meant that we could visit some of the beaches. Those at Sangatte were truly lovely and well worth spending a day or more at. Coquelles itself has a good supermarket, restaurants etc, so worth breaking the journey there and preparing either for an excursion further into France, or the trip back home. And if you have time, Cap Gris-Nez is also lovely!

The hotel and ones next to it has a large police presence...
The hotel and ones next to it has a large police presence and many police vehicles in the car park making it feel very safe and secure. The location is perfect for the tunnel and shopping, where it is quite basic it suits well for an overnight stop.
Staff friendly and efficient.
Furnishings a little tired.
We arrived in the day they opened for the first time the new restaurant and kitchen, in the glass walls surounded facilty, viewing the Eurotunnel terminal. Outside was windy, inside was cozy and confy. Wonderful feeling during dinner time. Small but good menu options (a simple salad would have been a plus, as an add to the menu). Rooms clean, confy beds, quiet during night time, good quality of rest. We have returned here the 4th time. It is our favourite hotel during our cross from France to UK.
Rooms are fairly basic and small but everything you need for a short stopover. Breakfast was good. The location in a retail park on the outskirts of Calais is not pretty but it is very convenient - secure floodlit and fenced parking and the Poivre Rouge restaurant across the road serves reasonably good food and is relatively cheap. Ideal at the end of a long day's driving! They take pets too and you can give your dog a lovely walk on nearby Bleriot Plage.
It's the third time I stop at Ibis Calais coming from Eurotunnel and going to Eurotunnel. Perfect location, easy to find, easy to leave. Room very comfortable and clean. Breakfast very good. When I have to leave the hotel before 6.30am ( breakfast time) the "Breakfast man" provide the service anyway. Must appreciated.
I will come back to Ibis Calais next time I'm travelling to France.
We have been staying at this great hotel regularly since 2016, on our way on and off the Continent (from Ireland via UK), as it has Tesla EV chargers. It is conveniently located, consistently available, always clean, reasonable value, with friendly staff, has all the basics and is an ideal stop-off en route.
check-in went well, they have 3 hotels one next to the other, 2-star, 3-star, and 4-star, so you need to know in which one you made your booking, so you do not have to go from one to another before you find your room
Easy to find, plenty parking space. Close to eurotunnel. Provided a very comfortable nights sleep after our long journey 10 hour journey up france. Refreshed ready for the next leg of our journey to Yorkshire.
We needed a convenient stop after a late night eurotunnel crossing so we were ready to continue driving through France. This was a good option 5 minutes away, comfortable and clean. Ideal.
Very close to Shuttle, comfortable with a bar and restaurant though we went into Calais for dinner. All staff very pleasant and helpful. Parking is plentiful. Highly recommended!
it was very clean, comfortable and nice. near a shopping Center and very close to Calais Terminal. So very practical and handy place to stay while travelling towards UK or France.
Very friendly staff at reception. Late Check in and was still able to get a drink at the bar. I had requested a quiet room and the hotel accommodated that. Clean and comfortable
Location next to Eurotunnel is ideal. Two star accommodation more than adequate for us. B&B hotels have 3 and 4 star accommodation next door if that is what you require.
easy access and all facilities available on Sunday which for France is exceptional - so well done. Clean hotel, well appointed with helpful smiling staff - always helps!
