Couiza, the town, is a sleepy town, felt a bit empty of life. Limited options for dining (a couple restaurants and a bar). Still I'd return if only for the Chateau and to drive the nearby country roads!matthewSpain

No need to look for food elsewhere - in fact a(nother) reason to stay at the hotel in our opinion. Aside from the regular menu the chef created fabulous meals upon request for my wife who has dietary restrictions. The gluten free rolls were a delight. The staff was very friendly and attentive and hotel itself is in an old castle with a courtyard, so the athmosphere is just as it should be. Ample parking is available if you're travelling by car.MikaFinland
