Wow, what to say?! I almost hesitate to say how great the little house was, for fear that it will be booked up the next time we want to stay! So far, it's been the finest place we've stayed on our long trip to Europe. We decided we'd like to stay (just) outside the tourist areas of the loire valley, and at only ten minutes from beautiful blois, this little house fit the bill. What we didn't know when we booked it was that everything in the house was virtually brand new, despite the house itself being quite old. The host has recently remodeled the entire place, and expertly! All the comforts and conveniences you could hope for are right at hand, then you look up and the modern finishing wisely stops before hiding beautiful century-and-a-half-old hand-hewn timbers. Everything you could want in an apartment is right at hand. A well stocked kitchen, a very comfortable bed, more outlets than anyone could ever need, and a wonderful shower with great water pressure. We almost didn't want to leave! The area around the house is a tiny town of 300 or so people, and as peaceful as you could ask. An old church across the street chimes the hours during daylight, but even if you're a light sleeper like me you'll barely hear the bell through the old stone walls of the house if you want to sleep in. Even though the town is tiny, a short walk around the neighborhood includes a really thorough outdoor exercise facility,, with pull up bars, hurdles, and maybe twenty stations, which was really impressive! I'm not inclined toward hyperbole, normally, but I felt compelled to write an honest review that might sound a little over the top of this place because we enjoyed it so much. We were greeted by Florian and his mother when we arrived and really felt the sincerity of their welcome from the start. Meeting them and enjoying their hospitality has been a real highlight of our trip. The photos really don't do the place justice!

Well located in easy walking distance to the Chateau and retail area. Good breakfast offering for a modest price.

Great location to explore the centre of Blois. Welcoming staff. Restaurant looked interesting although we didn’t have time to try it.

The hotel is brand new and everything is spark clean and spacious. The terrace is very nice as well as the view. The location is very convenient, super close to the main attractions.

The location was perfect. The staff are attentive and helpful.
