The town is beautiful and the accommodation is even better. I loved the Tudor-style buildings and the courtyard. The small rooms and apartments inside were wonderfully decorated for Christmas. We even had a little Christmas tree. The town is located 45 minutes away from Strasbourg which was perfect. Additionally, our host recommended a wonderful restaurant and made the reservations for us. Highly recommend!

I introduced this beautiful region to my wife and a befriended couple from Denmark and decided to book a 2 nights weekend getaway at the Hotel Val Vignes in St. Hippolyte. The hotel itself is beautiful and so is the location. The service of the frontdesk team and all the employees we encountered is magnificent. We enjoyed every interaction with them. Beeing it pre- and afterdinner drinks, bike rental, wine storage; everything was great, and as mentioned, the staff is superb. The only disappointment was the actual room. We booked the Premium category, but the room didn't look at all as displayed. We had a parking view and the room was just OK. A bummer as it didn't match the overall wonderful experience we encountered at this exceptional hotel. Also, the room cleaning was not up to standard. Dirty towels (we put on the floor) were taken but not exchanged. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel, but we would ensure we will get an appropriate room per booked category when visiting again.

The food was EXCEPTIONAL. The best breakfast we've ever had at a hotel or B&B. We loved the fact that we were given a suite (3 adult family members in two separate bedrooms was a pleasant surprise!) and that there was a lift/elevator.
