We loved the view. The rooms were clean and modern. For us, the best part was having delicious breakfasts out on the patio with the beautiful view of the Dordogne river and valley. The owners were very welcoming and helpful. It was a great spot from which to explore the area, including the beautiful ancient village of Limeuil. Would definitely recommend it!

Very good breakfast spread with fresh fruits and homemade lemon cake/bread in addition to standard offerings. Great conversation with the host who was very interested in history and travel. He showed us the silex (flint rocks) he has found on his property, which have been officially verified as authentic.

This is our favorite place ever to stay in France. The view from the pool and terrace were stunning, the room was spacious and beautifully renovated, the breakfast was gourmet quality. The best were the hosts, Marc and Jenny; friendly, funny, and incredibly helpful (they extracted us from a bit of a jam). It was truly worth every step up the last grueling kilometer to the top of the hill (we were hiking the GR6) to get there.....but even better by car.
