We loved this place! We were bicycling all day and arrived tired and hungry. We received a very warm welcome. Our room was very comfortable. There was a laundry room that we really needed after days of cycling. Later, we enjoyed a delicious 5-course homemade dinner in a beautiful garden! Our hosts were very nice and attentive and we also enjoyed meeting Marcelle the Cat! The next day, we had a delicious breakfast! And, there’s a beautiful river and park right across the street! Chambres dhotes logette is a wonderful place to stay and I highly recommend you check it out!

I am not sure I can express just how much we enjoyed our stay at Arara - it exceeded all expectations and was a gem of a place to call home for 2 nights during our visit to the Argonne Forest area. The outside seating areas are comfortable, welcoming and relaxing after a long day touring on our bikes. The hosts add the true flavor to this facility - they are well traveled and the decore reflects there interest in history. The main dining table welcomes great conversation and is topped off with delicious meals provided by the hosts. They also provide a variety of drinks you can add to your enjoyment - beers, wines, soft drinks etc. The room was another spectacular bonus to our stay at Arara - modern, clean, spacious, views. Arara is an unexpected luxury in this region of France. Go for the location, rooms, value but most of all for the hosts. We miss them already.

Fairly basic amenities but everything you need honestly. Staff was really nice. If you want to see war sites you can do 4 hour walk to them and back pretty easily.
