Lovely site in a beautiful location by the river and only 5...
Lovely site in a beautiful location by the river and only 5 mins walking into the town. The mobile home was spotless, adequately furnished although spartan, and the hosts were extremely helpful. The restaurant and bar was handy. In case you've never been on a french campsite, bear in mind that there is an extra charge for cleaning before you leave, or you have to do it yourself and no bedding is provided, there's a charge for that too. On reflection it would have been cheaper to rent a gite, but it depends what type of holiday you want.

Demeure des Tanneries is a perfect place to stay for one or more nights. The hospitality and the cooking of Paulette (and in our case her very friendly son in law who helped her), the swimming pool after a hot day in the car, very nice (bath)room, and did we mention the hospitality :-) Everthing was cookies, presented and cared for with ... love. We are defenitely coming back (with friends). What a nice place!
