This is a less popular and smaller village between the more tourist orientated villages of Kayserberg and Riquewihr - and it is definitely quieter/calmer. While it is just as pretty and has its fair share of domaines, there are only a couple of restaurants. But Kayserburg is just a 15-20 minute easy walk away along a well lit road. It is a perfect place if you enjoy walking or cycling.

Kientzheim is very pretty and quiet.
Kientzheim is very pretty and quiet. The tourist centre of Kaysersberg is a short walk away through vineyards. We tried only one restaurant in the village and were disappointed. Pricey and nothing special.

Kientzheim is a charming but sleepy Alsatian walled town, giving access to lovely mountain drives and historic fortresses. It's easily walkable and a good base, but has few facilities other than a handful of hotels.

The village is very quiet at nights I think there are only 2 or 3 hotels restaurants that were expensive with fancy food . We did not eat in the village and rather go to Colmar or Riquewihr that had better bars and restaurants and good and were only about 15 minutes drive from Kientzheim.
Truly a wonderful hotel. The rooms are lovely, comfortable, well furnished, sparkling clean and nicely designed. The hotel building itself is old and charming but restored into great condition. The location is very convenient for driving to surrounding towns in Alsace and plenty of parking on site removes the hassle of trying to find a place to leave the car.
Breakfast very good. Receptionist always answered any of our questions. Great location to walk around Kientzheim. The woodwork in our building is exceptional. Very clean and comfortable. We had the suite since it was the only room available but it was worth the extra money. WiFi worked good as well.
Room had good space, staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also good. The location is perfect for a weekend getaway or if you are in transit. I stopped over to do some cycling and would recommend the hotel and area. Loads of old buildings and castles in the area also. Will be back soon.
Very nice village, great old hotel building, rooms above expectation, garage to store bike overnight, very helpful staff, and much cheaper than all other hotels in the same village/ next village with comparable facilities and charm. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
Typical continental breakfast, all cold buffet, all good. Room was a deluxe so had more welcome space. Hotel old with lots of character. Plenty of shelf and hanging facility for our clothes. Car parking was a plus, plenty of space, free and secure.
The location is fantastic in the middle of this sweet little village. Lovely to order your drink in the hotel and sit outside enjoying the view. The car park provided is very handy.
Hotel is very comfortable, staff is extremely friendly and courteous. They make you feel welcome and 'at home'. Breakfast is always good, and food in the restaurant is delicious.
Very nice hotel with parking in a very beautiful typical village of Alsace located 1.5 km from Kaysersberg (surrounded by vineyards and full of charm) so much to visit in Alsace !
We had a fantastic weekend. This hotel a real gem. Very nice location. Clean and comfortable. Parking on premises is a real value. Charming atmosphere.
