We had a nice room, there is secure parking at the rear, the restaurant was excellent with friendly attentive service. The location, west of Chartres, is a little off the beaten track but was good for our onward travel to channel ports to next day. The small town has an Intermarche supermarket with self-service petrol station.

I could speak very little French but the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Overlooking the Huisne valley, Domaine De Villeray, a former 16th century castle and 19th century water mill, is perched on the hillside in the heart of a natural park.

Very quiet location easy to find with sat nav. Breakfast excellent. Host speaks good English which helped with our limited French! Would recommend to anyone who wants a simple relaxing place to stay or en route. Some might find it too remote but that is its charm
Right in the middle of this very typical French market town in the Bocage of Southern Normandy, the hotel provided us with exactly what we needed. We were two elderly motorcyclists and were fed well, slept well and treated well. The hotel very generously provided secure overnight parking for our 'bikes; guarded by the resident 'chien'! Our rooms were comfortable and the shower hot and plentiful. I would happily stay here again.
