It is a good base for exploring as it is very close to many interesting places such as Dinard, Dinan & St Malo. Although it is small, there are several beaches and there are also a few eating places both in Lancieux itself and St Briac which is close by.

Lancieux is an unpretentious seaside town with a choice of lovely beaches to spend the day. St Briac is very close too. There’s a boulangerie and boucherie-epiciere plus several restaurants. There is any amazing tidal range and the views at low tide are stunning.
