Everything. It was spotlessly clean and had everything one would need. lots of little touches. Toiletries plus loads of thoughtful other things, spare toothpaste, sun cream, body lotion, plasters etc etc. proper coffee making machine and proper coffee. tea, instant coffee. biscuits, cakes. microwave, crockery, cutlery. loved the mugs and cute little spoons. The host had really given the room some thought and care.
safe free parking right outside. aEven a swimming pool . if the weather had been warm, I’m sure we would have been allowed to use it. Check in was officially 3 but the host arranged for us to check in early. Nothing seemed too much trouble . A little far from Bordeaux centre but we like walking so walked there and back. There was also a tram and bus stop nearby and very easy to get to town The host had left very clear instructions how to do this. If we had not walked it would not have been a problem. Everything very helpful.

It was such a nice place, the hostess is amazing, kind and very hospitable, maybe even I haven't met a better host!
She cooked breakfast for us every day and once on Saturday she made really good pancakes! Thank you for a good time!

Le Bouscat is a residential area north of Bordeaux centre - around 15 minute tram ride. Its quite suburban and not a lot going on so would only recommend as a short stay location if you are visiting the city. Some owners are asking 140+ Euros a night to stay in their flat here `so I would recommend you find a boutique hotel closer to the city.
We loved our stay at this beautiful hotel. Our flight was cancelled so we chose to stay here rather than going into Bordeaux city centre for the night. We were so pleased we did! Lovely, quiet and beautifully appointed. Good sized rooms and a delicious dinner. We stayed on a Monday night when the restaurant was closed but they offered us a grazing menu of cheeses, smoked trout and delicious small plates. Perfect.
The breakfast was fabulous and the location was wonderful. Walked down the street to catch public transport into town. Didn't take long and was efficient. Parked the car at the hotel. Room was a good size and VERY comfortable. Pool was small but a welcome treat during the 40+ heatwave. The staff was very attentive and willing to offer suggestions of restaurants and wine tours.
- Location was ideal; 10mins from centre of town and near a good tram service
- Boutique feel of the hotel - a very well designed hotel and ecletic quality
- Friendliness and help of staff - in particular the lady from Belorussia who was fantastic.
Fabulous boutique hotel with amazing facilities. We only stayed one night but wished we’d stayed longer. Tram stops outside the door every 10 mins so fabulous for getting into the centre
This is simply the best city hotel I have ever stayed in. My wife and I spent five nights here in June 2023. We loved Bordeaux and we loved Maison Pavlov.
