Lovely hostess.
This was a small gite on a farm and we stayed one night before the ferry. It had everything you could possibly need for a good stay, including a really friendly hostess with excellent English (she put our faltering French to shame).
There were freshly baked cakes on our table for a treat as well - yum yum.

Stayed one night (well, from 18:00 to 01:30, really) during Paris Brest Paris 2023 Audax. Was welcomed after a 520km nonstop bike ride from Paris with a beer and pasta - brilliant. Slept for a couple of hours and then had breakfast (banana & mango smoothie, mango, etc.) at 01:30 a.m. before setting off to Brest. A lifesaver of a stopover.

It's only a small village but the locals were friendly when I got lost a couple of times in my hire car (even though it had an in-built GPS)! There are a good range of local shops, restaurants, banks and a petrol station. There is a beautiful park which is perfect for a walk after your evening meal (Jardin d'eau) situated down the street to the right of the Notaire's Office. There is a large lake and a good-sized lily pond with bridges to walk over it. The locals take their dogs for walks there and there are sculptures in the grounds. Everyone is very friendly and I spoke with several people while strolling round. There is a football pitch just before the water gardens on the right and every evening there was a match taking place. I noticed lots of cyclists and there were many staying at the B&B where I stayed (Chez Nous). If you want peace and quiet and beautiful natural surroundings, this is definitely a lovely little village to visit. The church was stunning in the centre of the village and there is plenty of parking.
