We went to the Grand Brocante at Marsac which was over 5...
We went to the Grand Brocante at Marsac which was over 5 fields big, so if you want to enjoy this take some sensible walking shoes. The food at the Restaurant on site was poor so if we returned next year we would bring our own. We ordered Steak and Chips and got Burger (Hache) but we had waited over 40 minutes for it so we just ate it. The restaurant never had any toilet facilities and there was a constant queue at the 2 public toilets which were filthy by lunchtime on the first day. The rest was very understaffed for the 1000's of people there and one of hem that really couldn't handle the pressure had a public meltdown in front of all the customers ..... very unprofessional!!! I understand that the owner/ manager of the restaurant has only had the premises for a few years so hopefully I will see a difference if I call in for a drink next year! Very rural and a pretty place, but be prepared to take food for your own supper! The facilities (eg: the kitchen and dining/sitting room) were excellent. We didn't visit Marsac as we were only stopping over.
