The views were amazing, and the staff was very friendly! We enjoyed our stay! We even forgot something in the room and they called me to tell me we forgot it, so we drove back to pick it up! We were very pleased!

Beautiful location just beside a vineyard is perfect for watching the sunset. Comfortable rooms, tasty breakfast, and Yves and Sandra were welcoming hosts. And we loved Cookie the cat! The drive to St Emilion is easy and scenic, too. No-brainer if you’re visiting wine country.

The location was perfect for exploring the area. St Emillion and its wineries were about 10/15 minutes away and Bordeaux was about an hour. The apartment was clean and well furnished with new appliances and kitchen needs. There was a cone coffee maker as well as a nespresso machine(the local grocery store actually had Starbucks nespresso pods). The beds were comfortable and the rooms were quiet. Benedictine, our host, was wonderful and patient with our French. She was glad to show us her winery and her product. Highly recommend Gite du chateau Rose des Vents.
