It was lovely after I found it, the Garmin took me to a farm down the road, but they directed me down the road and I found it after driving past the first time. the local restaurant was 3 miles way and very friendly. I picked it as it had a 10 for breakfast and was the most expensive stay on the holiday, breakfast was simple and not the best on the trip, no meat or cheese as I was given at another stay, that was a 10. This was ok not what I was expecting.

This B&B is in Nohant-Vic, a 4-minute drive from the house of the writer George Sand, where the artist Delacroix had a studio. Set in a 1-hectare garden it has a terrace and free Wi-Fi.

The property was hard to find as a precise street address wasn't given. At first we went to the wrong house! Fortunately nobody was home there. We rang both numbers to ask but it went to voicemail. Then the owner rang us back and let us know where to go but it still wasn't clear which house. Finally the neighbour saw us and explained which house it was. His house was next to the rental property and had a similar appearance so the photo wasn't much help. But when we finally got there all was good.
