Madame Sipp (Denise) had a freshly home-baked Kugelhopf for us on the kitchen table when we arrived, and greeted us warmly at the house with the key. She walked us through the house giving us a tour and information on everything including how to use the spa. Denise was always discreet when in her garden, and never made us feel like we were in her way and she made every effort to be quiet and unobtrusive in order to give us privacy. It was delightful to hear birds singing and church bells tolling every day. We even saw a small deer on the hill above a neighboring house a couple of times! There is a very short train that goes by nearby but we hardly ever heard or saw it, it was never a problem or annoyance for us. The terrace was lovely to sit outside any time of day. The decor was beautiful and there was always something new to discover in the house and garden. The spa was awesome, we wish we had more time to take advantage of it but did use it a few times during our monthlong stay. It was close by our family and friends in Geishouse, St. Amarin, Moosch, and Fellering. Denise became a good friend and we enjoyed chatting with her from time to time, and she was helpful to us when our luggage was delayed by the airline by loaning us clothing and even keeping an eye out for the courier to arrive with the bags. We had a wonderful time and would stay there again!!!

The owner manager is the best! So helpful, informative, willing to make anything happen to make one’s stay the best. Location is easy access and the owner has made so many improvements to the property. Nice restaurant and bar right on the property which is a huge plus when traveling through France. Fantastic little garden to sit in as well.
This hotel is just 1.2 mi from Thann and is located in the Vosges Natural Reserve. Guests can play tennis on the private tennis court and enjoy the on-site bar and restaurant.

Staff were great and the hotel restaurant was amazing. It was nice to enjoy a beer in the evening on the balcony. Beautiful location and a lovely walk into the town centre.

Despite being greatly understaffed (the same person was simultaneously taking care of the front desk and waiting tables at the restaurant), we received great service and the staff was very friendly and professional. The room we had was simple but comfortable, with a huge bathroom. It was facing the train station, but with the windows closed we couldn't hear the trains.
The gated parking lot was a bonus as we were traveling by motorbike.
