Very nice to be in a cool stone building on the hottest day if the year! The ceiling is low in the converted basement but the listing clearly states this sooner didn't mind. My husband is 6 foot 4 and his head was nearly touching the ceiling (maybe 1 cm clearance) So would not recommend for anyone taller than this. However there are no low beams or lower parts of the ceiling to bang heads on, it is a consistent height! Very nice outside patio area. Great value. Friendly host. Food sized for a studio with kitchenette separate from lounge/bedroom.

Our stay with Cecile and Patrick was absolutely wonderful. Their hospitality is outstanding. Their house is beautiful, well renovated, well equipped, and has everything one might need while being on vacation. Our children loved the outdoor pool and playroom, and we enjoyed the landscape, the style and the quietness. Cecile is an amazing cook and thinks of every detail, both in her display and decoration of meals and in how they tastes! She was incredibly accommodating to all of our needs -- our son doesn't eat gluten and she cooked special dishes for him, which is not an easy thing to find in France! It is clear that Cecile truly enjoys hosting people in her home, cooking for them and making sure they have a perfect experience of countryside France. She had good advice for us on things to do in the area, and we hope to return soon! Highly recommended!!!
