The pool is the main reason I booked and it’s a lovely size and clean with plenty of seating for guests staying in the 3 rooms. There’s a covered area at the back with a fridge/freezer containing various drinks and ice creams which you can purchase. Also a microwave/oven if you want to heat up food and there’s plates, cutlery glasses. The breakfast has lots of choice of fruit, bread, cereals, spreads etc. You can walk along the canal into La Rochelle in 45-60 minutes or go by bus. Valérie, Guilleme and their lovely Labrador Hulbert (hopefully I’ve spelled the names correctly) are very welcoming, helpful and friendly.

My parents stayed in a suite here with a beautiful view. The staff were exceptional throughout, polite, caring and attentive. The suite was lovely. My parents reported that the breakfasts were excellent also.
