The meal in Bistro is very special and delicious, service is exceptional. The breakfast was spectacular too and left us with unforgettable feelings!
The room was big, comfortable and cozy with a nice small terrace.
Located close to Perigord and 5 minutes from the historic center of Sainte Foy la Grande, Hotel Café de la Gare offers a friendly welcome on the way to Saint James.

The market at Saint Foy Le Grande on Saturday mornings is excellent. The tourist office was open each day and very helpful. There are 2 good restaurants in Port Foy.
A good rail link from Saint Foy to Bordeaux, Bergerac and Sarlat.

We haven’t really stayed in the village as we needed an accommodation close to Montazeau. The distances are fine, less than 15 minutes. Sainte Foy la Grande is right next to this village, on the other side of the river Dordogne. Very picturesque, prettiest Saturday market in France!

Port Ste Foy is a Quiet village but with adequate shops for self catering. Close to Ste Foy La Grande which has a variety of shops and Saturday market.
Bergerac airport and town less than an hour away.
Close to wine regions of Bergerac and Bordeaux. Vineyard tours available locally.
Peaceful walks along the Dordogne.
Ponchapt is up in the hills, very quaint. Village holds regular events ( pig fest, village picnics etc ) always welcoming if you are lucky enough to visit at the right time.
