The unique stately setting and beautiful interior together...
The unique stately setting and beautiful interior together with Paul’s attentiveness and kindness made this a lovely stay for our visit to Les Andelys and the Chateau de Gaillard. We had a comfortable room and the breakfasts were generous and delicious. We were able to park safely near the house in its peaceful parkland setting. Thank you Paul and Marie for a fabulous stay. This is a quiet location - great if you want to get away...
This is a quiet location - great if you want to get away from it all but within reasonably easy reach of Vernon and Monet's Garden, both of which we recommend. Monet's Garden is beautiful and atmospheric-even with all the other visitors. Highly recommend. Vernon has a great little art gallery, bar overlooking the Seine and the most fabulous old buildings. This is a fantastically beautiful and intriguing property...
This is a fantastically beautiful and intriguing property with gorgeous views of the River Seine and Normandy countryside. The breakfast is worthy of the Ritz and the property is perfectly located for exploring Monet's Giverney and making day trips to Paris. The hosts are a most charming couple and I felt like I was residing within the pages of a French history book, while having all modern conveniences including fast wifi.DanUnited Kingdom
