The position was perfect to visit the " route des vins", close enough to the typical villages in our to-do list.
When you arrive at the castle, the outside is astonishing.
This 16th-century post office has been transformed into a charming hotel.

The hotel is really beautiful. I particularly enjoyed the antique wooden floors in the dining-room.
The bedroom was nice too. Decorated with care. Not too much, not too little.

Perfect retreat with all facilities thought of. Set in the grounds of a large gite with its own vineyard. Comfortable bed and large spacious living area.
Rouffach centre is close by with a gothic feel with a handful of quality restaurants. Great for a couple days exploring the wine region of Alsace area or a stop over like we did.
Set within a vineyard between Colmar and Mulhouse, at the foot of the Markstein ski slopes, Hotel du Lac is situated in the Domaine du Lac, which also includes Hotel les Rives.

The rooms were very comfortable. The beds were high quality and the pillows were soft and plentiful. The blackout shades on the Velux windows made morning sleep a breeze for our toddler. The staff were extremely kind and accommodating and made us feel right at home. The selection of local wines on the menu was excellent. It was an easy five minute drive to the local town of Soultzmatt with some great tasting opportunities and tidy streets to stroll on.
Location and façade and tranquility are great. But the rooms behind the façade are very austere, very simple and tasteless. The rooms represent the luxury of a 1 star hotel. I could not stand the rooms (other rooms showed were the same) and very much shortened my stay.
The property was ideally located in the centre of Rouffach down a quiet Cul de Sac. It was a period property that had been beautifully renovated retaining & showcasing some original features. It had the added benefit of being able to park a car in the garage underneath. Enjoyed seeing the local "feathered" residents (i.e. Storks) roosting on one of the house roofs opposite!
The architecture of the hotel was nice if you appreciate old wooden buildings. Location is comfortable if you are visiting Alsace by car. Parking available for free next and opposite hotel. The reception staff were exceptionally helpful. They are the most valuable asset of the hotel. They try to make up for all the issues the hotel is experiencing.
The hotel is located abit outside from the city center but still remain in the walking distance, which make it a good spot, available parking nearby. Rooms are clean, simple and nice. The Swimmingpool with a jacuzzi and sauna area is nice but you have to go through the restaurant to enter it. The brewery (Chez Julien) was nice with good food.

Beautiful Chateau to be used as a base to visit all of Alsace, When there MAKE SURE you go to Restaurant " a la Grappe" The most amazing food.
The chateau itself is nice, but the rooms need a bit of facelift, but it did not take away from the experience of staying in a Chateau. Loved it.
Spa is the real diamond of this hotel - pool, sauna, jacuzzi.
In other sides, standard hotel. Free parking at the hotel. 10 minutes walk to city center.
Rooms comfortable enough. No sockets at the bed, and only one wall socket in the corner far from bed.
Poor choice at breakfast.
Pretty good hotel, with pool, air-conditioning, with private parking for auto. 5 minutes walk to city center. Good for family with kids.
The only issue is breakfast too poor, only yoghurt, croissant with jam, and juice. If you want fried eggs, you can prepare it by yourself.
A beautiful spacious house where attention is placed in every detail. Very well equipped to cater for every need. Very hospitable, accommodating and kind owners, with whom communication was always excellent. It is the perfect place for a short or longer stay!
Very comfortable and equipped apartment very near to the center of Rouffach. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the hosts are very helpful and kind. This was a great experience and highly recommended!
very kind team. great place for having an amazing stay in Alsace. the bathroom equipment is not luxury, but the château itself is something you cannot experience in any other hotels.

Very nice and helpful hosts, Large and very clean rooms. Good breakfast. Large pool aera.
Nice located in the city of Rouffach with short walking distance to good restaurants.
