Location is lovely, quite and green, big garden as aplace to relax
The hotel is in the middle of the forest and lake area.
The hotel is in the middle of the forest and lake area. You need to drive to othe places or have a bike. The golf course seemed popular but not crowded. The spa looks good, but I didn't use it on this occasion. The pool is outside with a canopy built over, popular with families, but at other times quiet for a proper swim. Short drive to the next village with swimming and watersports facilities. Picnic area and several food outlets and toilets and showers. Free parking places. On the other side of the lake is another village with a larger beach and more facilities. The city of Troyes has a fine medieval centre. But I would recommend a drive to Piney for more good examples of medieval architecture.
Peace and quiet in the forest and fields. The odd exterior architecture--1980s modern--is interesting, but the interior is well laid out. The room was large and well laid out also. The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of pillows, The window opened and had a screen to keep the flying insects outside. The entire hotel is accessible to disabled people.
it is in a great location, in a very beautiful part of France. The hotel itself is set in lovely grounds. For us it is also in a convenient location, halfway between the Channel ports and our home in the French Alps, the perfect stopping off point en route. The restaurant is excellent and makes the stay something to look forward to.
This is my 'go to' stop-off hotel en route to the south of France. Must have stayed here 15-20 times. Great location, staff always friendly, food remains exceptional. Large rooms (more like suites), fine Champagne District location, surrounded by parkland and a golf course, close to the lakes.
We stay at this hotel approximately 6 times a year for the last 5 years en route to our final destination , and have always enjoyed the large rooms, comfortable beds, secure parking and good service. The restaurant has always been top quality with a seasonal menu
The staff dont speak engliish
Dinner was not ok in the sense that a lot of dishes were not enough so plyes were empty. We think there were too few in the staff at the restaurant.
Wifi did not work
Golfcourse was very nice though
Booking dont recommed this hotel
I've stayed here before, and the hotel lived up to expectations based on previous experience. Comfortable room. Good restaurant. Very good breakfast. Pleasant environment. Well placed for an overnight stop on the way to the Alps.
Comfortable hotel with the comfiest beds!
The staff were friendly and helpful, and welcoming to our dog as well. Great walks around the grounds for dogs.
We had dinner in the restaurant and the food was good.
Free parking.
The hotel had a very relaxed atmosphere, was welcoming and our poor French was not a problem! The starter and dessert at dinner was delicious. Service was prompt and again our weak French was smiled away.
Great room, good food, pleasant social spaces within hotel and the swimming pool. Travelled with roof box and skis on the roof and felt that was safe to leave them on in the car park.
