The bed, pillows, and down quilt were sooo comfortable ! The rain shower was great too.
Everything was impecably clean and the three gentlemen who helped me check-in, eat a fantastic steak dinner, set up a little breakfast buffet (only for me 🤭) and gave me reccommendations on good walking paths were very kind.

It's only a short bus ride into the centre of Rambouillet (including the train station: Gare SNCF) or you can walk it in 35 minutes.
It's quite a pleasant walk after the first 5 minutes which you spend navigating through the commercial/industrial area.
The advantage of the above area is that restaurants, a huge supermarket and a large McDonald's are just a few minutes' walk from the hotel if you need them.
The breakfast was ok (although no gluten-free options: maybe you need to tell them in advance).
Cédric was the only staff member I met and he is VERY helpful.
It makes such a big difference when hotels have pleasant and considerate staff who "go the extra mile".

It was close to our main route south of Paris towards Dordogne. The room was basic, but clean with comfortable beds and a good air-con. It was very close to three restaurants. The man in charge was very friendly and helpful. It was good value for money including a reasonable continental breakfast.
