Like a secluded retreat! We loved having a comfortable bedroom PLUS a huge, roofed terrace facing the woods and complete with 3 couches, fire pit, Bluetooth speaker, massive, dining table and chairs, throws and pillows. We read, napped and played games. Charming, personable host has a gift for hospitality and an artistic eye. Served up a lovely breakfast, too! We found this place in a panic when our original lodging overbooked and were so happy! Hope to return.

Location was superb & just what we wanted. Quiet, secluded & within easy reach, by car, of nearby villages & towns & a great base for visiting surrounding areas. Clean & presented well. Although no oven, there were plenty of other appliances to cook meals. The view was just spectacular & the huge log burner gave out splendid heat every evening & plenty of logs available. An abundance of hot water was always available & a great shower too. So peaceful with very little passing traffic - only the odd car or tractor throughout the day.

Well run clean and comfortable hotel in the village near to shops and restaurants. Room is big and airy with big bathroom. Perfect for a short stay. Also they serve great food in the attached bistro.

This family-owned hotel has a peaceful atmosphere and offers complete relaxation in the Pyrénées region. The hotel is in a great location for visitors to the central Pyrénées area.
It was great for hiking. It is easy to get around but the roads are twisty and so it takes a little longer to get to places. It is quite a long way from the central Pyrenees so not a good central location for seeing the larger mountains. Local Logis, in St Lary, food very good and the staff friendly and helpful. Very disappointing meal at Chez Joes.
