La Chant is basically a hostel with a couple shared rooms. It is in a very old building but a great deal of thought was put into designing it for hostel use. Spaces were semi-private and had everything one would need. The location is beautiful, on a cliff over the Cele Valley. The host is thoughtful and has decorated with wonderful taste. The dinner (available but not mentioned in information) was delicious.

The rooms are small, but very clean and efficient. There is a very nice pool to cool down, which is very well maintained. The entire property is very well maintained with groomed flower and plant beds, throughout. The breakfast is sufficient with homemade jellies and fresh homemade yoghurt. The hostess gives excellent advice on sites and activities in the area. The gite is located with easy access to tourist sites.

Beautifully restored property. Alice and Kerman were so kind. I really enjoyed talking with Kerman and he prepared an amazing meal for me. I was the only guest that night and really enjoyed my experience at Oltarcie. It was fun too to see the chickens’ coop. A bit damp the day I was there to consider the swimming pool.
