Location is excellent! Breakfast was good considering this is France. The restaurant, Cafe de la paix, has budget-friendly ‘menu du jour’ and ‘plat du jour’. We had one lunch and one dinner. It was all good ‘brasserie’ type of food. Also the garden is beautiful and the adjacent spa looked nice, though we didn’t utilize it. This makes it a very nice location in good weather.

Quirky and fab with THE most dramatic car park portal you’ve ever seen. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful, and the place was squeaky clean with endless steaming hot water. We’re passing through again in three days time and we’re really disappointed that they can’t accommodate us again. We never stay anywhere twice - it speaks volumes that we wanted to. Oh, and breakfast was delicious!
