My fourth time staying here at Au Tonnelier. Rooms always very clean and comfortable. It's an excellent stop off point via the channel ferries and Bergues is a very interesting town.

It was as described in the photos, the interior is nicely furnished, comfy bed, fully equiped kitchen. Thé location si perfect, the apartment is in the vicinity of two of the best rated restaurants in Bergues. Moreover, I had the impression that Bergues itself is one of the monicest cities in the area.
Offering a garden and garden view, Les Jardins is located in Hoymille, 12 km from Dunkerque Train Station and 22 km from Plopsaland.

The friendly, cheerful welcome by the host, Claudine.
The fun time we had chatting with Claudine via her smartphone and the voice translator.
The amazing breakfast with local produce plus tasty homemade yoghurt, fruit juice and a variety of jams.
The breakfast/lounge room, the bedroom and the bathroom - all very roomy and comfortable.
The beautiful gardens.
The place was a real gem. I have told a lot of friends about how good Northern France is but everybody just shoots through from the ferry port or tunnel without a thought. This was truly a find. The proprietors were brilliant and made our one night a very pleasurable experience. We had been planning on staying in Brussels ( what a hole that is ) I cannot speak to highly of the hotel and the owners.
This is our second visit to this beautiful property in 2023.
We actually took the ferry from rather than Calais so we could stay here for a night!
We love the ambience in this property.
Another fabulous stay.....beautiful room overlooking the garden. Again, breakfast was plentiful and tasty.
Cannot fault this hotel.
We will be back......
Thank you!
Very modern hotel with spacious rooms. The gym is very large and perfect for anyone who likes lifting weights and cardio. It’s a spacious hotel with modern rooms, comfortable beds and new air conditioning units. Staff were friendly and attentive and helped us with arranging to have twin beds instead of doubles late on in the evening.
To sum up the beds were the probably the most comfortable I have ever slept in, they felt very new and medium to firm which was great. Oliver behind the desk was great, polite & very helpful, for me this hotel was everything it needed to be for a quick stay. I am happy too score it 8.5 to 9. Thank you Oliver for your hospitality.
Breakfast was just average. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't special. But still enjoyable.
The hotel itself was clean, although a few damages in the room I noticed upon arrival. And a bulb not working correctly in the bathroom.
It looked and felt comfortable and cozy like a home, with the perks of a 5-star hotel. The room was clean and extremely comfortable, the staff was very kind, and the game room was superb with games suitable to the whole family.
The hotel room was modern and clean. Beds were comfy and the property had a secure car park. Shower was powerful too and had plenty of space to store luggage.
